| TiE Delhi has been playing the role of a platform, albeit passive one, that allows entrepreneurs to meet, interact and network with other elements of the ecosystem through networking meetings, mentoring clinics, deal flow meetings, conferences and an electronic magazine. It is upon the members to derive benefits and continue the relationship; given this platform the secretariat in early 2006 launched a dedicated program called the Entrepreneurship Nurturing Program (ENP) to play a more pro active role in helping entrepreneurs reach the next level. |
| The Entrepreneurship Nurturing Program (ENP) managed by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) New Delhi was initiated with the objective of mentoring & guiding entrepreneurs. The ENP program through its structure & meticulous approach has managed to bring together crucial participants in an ecosystem such as VCs, investors, mentors, incubators and service providers, education & R&D institutions, etc to accelerate the development of entrepreneurship. The Eco System is truly coming into place which now comprises of entrepreneurs at all stages whether a start up or mid size, professionals, incubators, mentors, venture partners, Angel Investors ,VC firms, global entrepreneur members spanning 45 chapters of the TIE Fraternity. |
| The program guides entrepreneur’s moves them forward at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey and, at its apex, has successful entrepreneurs & Investors committed to its success. |
| The Entrepreneurs journey is a lonely one he/ she needs the structure & the eco system of the ENP program to constantly & consistently guide the entrepreneur in making the right choices & connected with the relevant people. |

| Key Value Drivers- ENP |
| Direct involvement of leading entrepreneurs: TiE - ENP is a program that has been created by successful entrepreneurs for aspiring entrepreneurs. Drawing on the experiences of these successful entrepreneurs TiE - ENP was designed to uniquely address the challenges that entrepreneurs will face today. It provides an excellent platform for entrepreneurs to get their queries & issues resolved with senior entrepreneurs who have already been through the journey. |
| Mentorship: Taking the involvement of entrepreneurs to the next level TiE - ENP introduces each of its participating entrepreneurs to mentors that will directly guide them in their endeavors. Mentors are successful entrepreneurs or industry veteran with strong domain knowledge and the contacts and connections necessary for any entrepreneur to succeed. TiE will also leverage its global charter members & the global connectivity that exist today, to bring in more of a value addition to its participants. TiE Delhi is very fortunate to have a very active & supportive group of mentors. |
- Service Providers – A lot of our partner constituents like Deloitte & Jyoti Sagar Associates conduct regular workshops for us on crucial topics like Intellectual Property, How to develop an effective business plan etc. These specific & limited workshop help entrepreneurs to engage with the trainers in a more intimate & detailed format & in the process acquire the skills to enhance their value proposition.
- Direct involvement of venture funds/Angel Investors: A number of leading VC funds & Angel Investors are actively involved in TiE - ENP through participation on various TiE – ENP initiatives like VC Delegation meets, India VC Connect Program, Company Showcase sessions, Deal flow meet, individual VC interactions. Mentoring sessions with entrepreneurs. Under the ENP Program we have established partnerships leading international & national VC/Angel Investors have adopted a mechanism wherein appropriate entrepreneurs will get a chance to directly interact & have traction with the Investors.
- Other Partners- Some of the constituents who are actively engaging with us to build the ecosystem are incubators, entrepreneurship cell’s of other institutes, individual angel investors etc. Through the network & wide reach of all our partners the ENP program will be able to provide a variety of benefits & will be able to address the needs of a diverse audience. Government sponsored funds such as DST, Kitven, SIDBI Ventures and Technology Development Board. TiE - ENP will attempt to understand the funding criteria (sectors of interest, stage of companies, domestic/ international focus, etc.) of these organizations, and these criteria will be built into the screening process, so that the chances of raising seed capital are imp. Indian Venture Capital Association- the Apex association of VCs based in India, the ENP program will act as a feeder for the IVCA on looking at suitable investment opportunities.

| Digbijoy and the Tie-Network has been of great value to my business. While I could list a lot of benefits, the prominent ones would include |
- Mentoring: I was of the opinion that being from the RPO space there wouldn’t be too many people who would understand my business and it’s dynamics, however 2 of the 3 mentoring sessions were taken by people who actually had prior experience in my space. Frankly I was very impressed with the depth of their network and the meetings helped me in realigning and fixing a lot of things.
- Peer to Peer Learning through Networking: The social event puts you in touch with other entrepreneurs who might be going through a similar stage or have gone through it sometime before you. At a point of time when I was looking at breaking my business into processes and aligning them into buckets of criticality, a peer from the IT space was able to give enormous inputs on how to do it.
- Business: A goods source of business leads courtesy the large global network, the Tie office has provided a few leads in the past year which have translated into real-time business for us.
